We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Representative to manage our East Central Territory (GA, NC, SC). The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing strong customer relationships, and representing PMI’s premium product lines across multiple markets.

 

Critical Requirements

  • Must currently reside in the State of Georgia, North Carolina, or South Carolina.
  • Position requires regular travel throughout the 3-state territory (GA, NC, and SC).
  • Experience selling woodworking products is strongly recommended.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a thorough understanding of PMI’s core product lines through comprehensive training.
  • Serve as the main contact for existing and prospective customers within the assigned territory.
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities through proactive outreach and relationship-building.
  • Assess customer needs and recommend tailored product solutions.
  • Present PMI products and services effectively to prospective and existing clients.
  • Maintain daily use of the company CRM to record customer interactions, leads, and opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals and revenue targets.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate annual sales forecasts.
  • Participate in trade shows, distributor events, and other promotional activities.
  • Monitor competitor activity and provide market insights to the National Sales Manager.
  • Collaborate closely with distributor partners to achieve shared growth goals.
  • Submit consistent sales reports and provide feedback to management.

 

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years of B2B sales experience, ideally within woodworking, furniture, or related industries.
  • Proven track record of increasing sales revenue and building strong client relationships.
  • Strong organizational, presentation, and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working effectively from a home-based office.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
