Christie was born and educated in Winston-Salem, NC and was your typical "only child" (spoiled) growing up! She obtained an Associate Degree in Accounting through technical schooling. She is proud that she paid her own way with no financial help from her parents, while consecutively working 2nd shift in the Grass America hinge department.

Christie was recommended by Grass to PMI in 1990 where she is the Corporate Secretary to Peter, along with assisting Customer Service.

She is happily married since 1990. She and her husband purchased a home in the country where they are raising their 2 sons Kenny and Kerry, 2 parakeets and Samoyed sled dog named Sheba. She admits there is not much time for hobbies due to life's daily tasks and her boys extensive baseball'n, but she loves the beach, birdwatching and a good movie when she has the time.
